Solid technology with a simple interface!ĪnyDesk is a free and simple-to-use remote desktop solution, which helps you access documents and files on any device across several locations. Last but not least, both on-premises and Cloud-based solutions are available. You can also download the mobile apps without any extra charge. Unlike some competing titles, the program offers multi-platform support, and runs smoothly on Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, Mac OS, FreeBSD, etc. This can be quite useful in remote regions and areas with slow connection speeds. The software utilizes DeskRT, the proprietary video codec specifically designed to provide fast data transmission at even low bandwidths. The underlying technology allows you to write the same files, encode the same videos, and do everything as you would if you were logged in on the main terminal.

While there are other popular programs like TeamViewer and Ultraviewer, AnyDesk lets you connect to a terminal at home or work with ease. The simple interface allows even beginners to use the program from the get-go. With solid server technology, the software focuses on super fast connection speed.

There are many products out there that do the same thing.Cathy Buggs Updated 12 days ago Log in to your device remotely!ĪnyDesk is one of the most popular remote desktop applications in the world. Because of the poor support, I may have to reconsider when it comes time to renew my subscription. For that kind of price increase you'd thing they'd up their game with regards to support. Again, a fairly decent program but their support is horrible! They've raised their price in the last year for a 1 year subscription by quite a bit. They either don't respond at your email at all or if they do it's very vague and of little use. So, far a fairly competent program but their support however is almost nonexistent! Really hit and miss! Recently I've sent them multiple emails through their support forum requesting help and reporting issues. They've been releasing updates and that seems to be helping with the issues thus far.

Their recent version 5 has had some hiccups and has given me a good amount of trouble - primarily when connecting to Windows servers. I've been using this software for about a year now and for the most part it's worked pretty well.
